Annually, The Lakeland Bassmasters participate with other local clubs in an event on behalf of the FFA Leadership Program on Lake Pierce. The program consists of an evening educational program focusing on bass fishing techniques. The following day participating clubs take approximately one-hundred FFA members for several hours of fishing on the lake.
The dates of the 2010 Events are:
Lunch will be provided by FFA at the conclusion of the fishing.

In total, we need 25 boats to make it a worthwhile event for these young adults. If we have 25 boats, we can provide about two and one-half hours of fishing for each participant. Fewer boats means less time on the water for the kids.
